If you’re looking for a one-of-a kind local dining experience, our go-to is Eleven Contemporary Kitchen. Known to locals simply as Eleven, this staple in Pittsburgh dining is situated in a converted warehouse in the historic Strip District. Chef Eli Wahl ensures the freshest seasonal menu by making daily changes. Enjoy a unique a-la-carte dining experience in the main dining room, or head to the more relaxed bar and lounge area for their tavern menu and cocktails.

Our favorite way to enjoy an evening in Pittsburgh is dinner in the upper dining room, followed by a post-meal nightcap at the bar. Despite its high-ceilings and square footage, Eleven always feels intimate; and a night there calls to take advantage of all it has to offer. On a recent chilly fall night, we asked our fantastic bartender to help guide us through the menu with some of her favorite pairings. For a drink, she recommended the Maple Smash (pictured below) made with Bulleit bourbon, maple, and lemon; and to enjoy with our cocktail, she suggested the oysters coupled with their signature hot sauce.

Locals love Eleven for its sleek industrial interior, picturesque location in the city, and unforgettable dining experience. Pittsburgh food blogger, @foodbabypgh recently stopped in for their autumn salad (pictured below,) and we can’t wait to try it during our next visit.

Style Picks for Eleven:

We chose this burgundy tonal houndstooth weave suit worn with a matching hairline stripe shirt - a rich palette color for Eleven. This Zegna fabric is perfect for the fall and winter season, and paired with the fun lining, makes it a bold and fashion-forward style. Notice the small details of this suit including the contrasting color of the buttonholes. Pair this suit with a warm brown shoe to pull the look together.

Head over to Eleven for your next date night or cocktail hour for an unforgettable experience. If you have any style questions, Samuel Baron’s master clothiers are always here to help.
